유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 양육효능감이 공동양육행동에 미치는 영향 : 결혼만족도의 매개효과

The Effect of the parenting efficacy of fathers with early childhood children on co-parenting : the mediating effect of marriage satisfaction

본 연구에서는 아버지 양육효능감이 공동양육행동에 미치는 영향에서 결혼만족도의 매개효과를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울 소재 유치원 2곳의 3-5세 유아의 아버지 378명으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0을 이용하여 Pearson 상관분석과 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 3단계 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, PROCESS macro 4.0을 활용하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구결과, 첫째, 아버지 양육효능감과 결혼만족도, 공동양육행동 간에 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지 양육효능감이 공동양육행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 결혼만족도의 부분 매개효과가 나타났다. 이는 아버지의 긍정적인 공동양육행동을 증진시키기 위하여 양육효능감과 함께 높은 수준의 결혼만족도를 획득하는 것이 중요함을 시사한다. 따라서 본 연구는 가정에서의 아버지 역할과 바람직한 자녀 양육행동에 대한 방안을 모색하는 데 의미 있는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of marriage satisfaction in the effect of father-parenting efficacy on co-parenting. In total,378 fathers of 3–5-year-olds at two kindergartens in Seoul. The collected data were verified using Pearson correlation analysis and Baron’s and Kenny's(1986) three-step regression analysis using SPSS 26.0, and the mediating effect using PROCESS macro 4.0. First, a significant correlation presented between father-rearing efficacy, marriage satisfaction, and co-rearing behavior. Second, in the process of influencing father-parenting efficacy on co-parenting, a partial mediating effect of marriage satisfaction was found. This suggests the importance of obtaining a high level of marriage satisfaction along with parenting efficacy to promote positive co-parenting for fathers. Therefore, this study presents meaningful basic data for use in seeking ways for the role of fathers at home and desirable child-rearing behavior.
