한국 가족상담사 핵심역량척도(K-FCCCS) 개발 및 타당화 연구

Development and Validation of the Korean Family Counselor Core Competency Scale

본 연구는 한국 가족상담사의 핵심역량을 파악하고 평가하는 도구(K-FCCCS: Korean Family Counselor Core Competency Scale)를 개발, 타당화하여 가족상담의 효과성을 높이고 전문적인 관리에 기반이 되고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 델파이 조사를 통해 세부 문항을 구성하고 223명의 가족상담사 대상 예비조사를 통해 문항의 양호도 분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도를 확인한 후 317명의 가족상담사 대상 본조사를 실시하였다. 척도의 구인타당도와 공인타당도 검증, 상관분석을 통해 준거 관련 타당도를 확인하고 최종적으로 가족상담사의 핵심역량척도를 구성한 결과 한국 가족상담사의 핵심역량은 5개 요인구조, 26문항으로 도출되었다. 본 연구는 가족상담의 영역에서 연구가 진행되지 못한 양적·질적 접근을 동시에 진행하여 척도를 타당화하고 궁극적으로 상담의 질적 제고의 기반이 되는 인력과 자격관리, 평가의 영역에서 활용될 수 있는 척도를 제공했다는 것에서 의의가 있다.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a core competency scale for Korean family counselors, which will serve to increase the effectiveness of family counseling and provide the basis for professional family counseling management. Methods: A Delphi survey was conducted to detail the core competencies of family counselors. A preliminary survey was then administered to 223 family counselors to evaluate goodness of fit for seed items, conduct exploratory factor analysis, and confirm reliability. The main survey was then carried out with 317 family counselors. Construct validity and concurrent validity of the scale were verified through correlation analysis to confirm criterion-related validity. Results: The resulting scale comprises five factors and 26 items, designated as counseling relationship formation, family evaluation, family counseling intervention, family counseling case management, and professional ethics. Conclusions: This study identified the differentiated competencies for family counselors in Korea and validated a novel core competency scale through a simultaneous quantitative and qualitative approach, a methodology not previously used in this field.
