This case report outlines the orthodontic treatment of a 10-year-old male patient diagnosed with a Class II skeletal pattern. The patient presented with a significant overjet, midline diastema, maxillary arch constriction, and a pronounced convex facial profile. Treatment was conducted in two phases. Phase I involved maxillary arch expansion and diastema closure using a Hyrax-type expander in combination with a partial fixed appliance. Phase II focused on improving the facial profile through the use of a comprehensive fixed appliance and miniscrews for enhanced anchorage. A Broussard step-up combination loop archwire was utilized to achieve simultaneous retraction and intrusion of the maxillary anterior teeth. For retention, a maxillary 0.040˝ Essix retainer was provided, along with a mandibular fixed retainer, to ensure long-term stability of the treatment results.
