장기미술치료를 통한 강력범죄피해 외상경험자의 회복과정

The Recovery Process of a Victim Traumatized by Violent Crime through the Long Term Art Therapy

본 연구는 강력범죄피해 외상경험자의 회복과정에서 장기미술치료의 경험과 그 의미를 이해하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 Yin(2018/2021)이 제시한 사례연구를 선택하여 미술치료 경험내용을 분석하고 탐구하여 그 경험에 대한 함의를 발견하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 미술치료는 2021년 1월부터 2024년 1월까지 주 1회 또는 2주 1회씩 총45회기 진행하였다. 자료 수집은 이전 미술치료 내용이 추후 동의되어 포함되었고 미술작업과정, 관찰기록, 녹취, 연구자의 기록, 작품사진 등이 수집되었다. 이러한 과정을 바탕으로 Yin(2018/2021)이 제안하는 시계열 방식과 설명으로 원인, 맥락, 결과를 재구성하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 강력범죄피해 외상경험자의장기미술치료 경험내용을 바탕으로 분석한 결과 192개의 개념과 30개의 하위범주, 7개의 상위범주가 출현하였다. 둘째, 강력범죄피해 외상경험자의 회복과정에서 미술치료 의미는 다섯 가지로 도출되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

This study aimed to understand the experience and meaning of long-term art therapy in the recovery process of a victim traumatized by a violent crime. Using a case study method proposed by Yin (2018/2021), the study analyzed the art therapy experiences to explore their implications. The therapy conducted 45 theraypy sessions weekly or biweekly from January 2021 to January 2024. The sutdy collected data including previously conducted therapy content (with later consent), art-making processes, observation records, audio recordings, researcher notes, and photographs. Based on Yin’s method, the study reconstructed chronological approach, causes, context, and outcomes. The results of this study were as follows. First, the analysis of the long-term art therapy experiences yielded 192 concepts, 30 subcategories, and 7 main categories. Second, the study identified five key meanings of art therapy in the recovery process of the trauma. Based on research results, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
