Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) level and clarify the factors influencing the HRQoL of overweight and obese adults in multicultural households. Methods: The 2021 Korea Health Panel Survey Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression using SPSS WIN 25.0 program. The subjects of the study were overweight and obese adults from 100 multicultural households who responded to questions about their HRQoL. Results: The level of the HRQoL of overweight and obese adults in multicultural households was 0.95. Significant predictors of the HRQoL included bedridden experience, chronic disease, high school education, stress, and self-rated health status, which explained 59.1% of the variance. Conclusion: Healthcare providers should consider the bedridden experience, chronic disease, high school education, stress, and self-rated health status when designing programs to improve the HRQoL of overweight and obese adults in multicultural households.
