M대학 역량기반 비교과 교육과정 운영 실태와 맞춤형 통합교육모델 연구

A Study on Competency-Based Extracurricular Program Operation and the Development of a Customized Integrated Education Model at M University

연구목적: 본 연구는 2021년부터 2024년까지 M대학교에서 운영된 949개의 역량기반 비교과 프로그램의 운영 특성을 분석하고, 그 결과를 토대로 M대학 맞춤형 통합교육모델을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 분석 대상은 학부(과) 주관 417개 프로그램과 행정부서 주관 532개 프로그램으로 6대 핵심역량인 글로벌 시민의식 및 국제 소통(G), 창의융합 및 자기주도학습(P), 나눔 및 리더십(S)을 세 영역으로 재분류하였다. 이후 K-Means 분석을 통해 운영 특성을 다각적으로 분석하였으며, 통합교육모델 개발을 위해 문헌 연구를 통한 선행연구 및 사례 검토, 전문가 설문을 병행하였다. 연구결과: M대학교의 비교과 프로그램 운영은 핵심역량 영역별 프로그램 편성에 편차가 있고, 프로그램 기획부터 평가까지의 관리체계가 일원화되어 있지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 운영 실태 분석에 따라, 단계별 역량 개발을 지원하고 프로그램 기획, 운영, 평가가 유기적으로 연계된 M대학교 맞춤형 통합교육모델을 제안하였다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 M대학교비교과 프로그램 운영 실태를 분석하고 맞춤형 통합교육모델을 제안함으로써 핵심역량의 편중과 관리체계 미흡이라는 구조적 한계를 규명하였다. 제안된 모델은 핵심역량 균형, 교과 및 비교과 연계, 데이터 기반 환류 체계를 반영하여 특수목적대학군의 교육 환경에 적합한 운영 방안을 제시한다. 다만 단일 대학 사례에 국한되었다는 한계가 있으며, 향후 유사 대학군을 대상으로 한 비교 연구와 장기적 성과 검증이 필요하다. 그럼에도 본 연구는 특수목적대학군 비교과 교육과정의 체계화와 질적 고도화를 위한 시사점을 제공할것이다.

Purpose: This study analyzes the characteristics of 949 competency-based extracurricular programs at M University(2021-2024) and proposes a customized integrated education model. Method: Data from 417 department-led and 532 office-led programs were examined. Six competencies were reclassified into three domains (G, P, S). K-means cluster analysis, literature review, and expert consultation were employed to identify patterns and design the model. Results: The analysis revealed program imbalance across domains and absence of a unified management system. Based on this, an integrated model was developed to support staged competency growth and connect planning, implementation, and evaluation. Conclusion: This model addresses structural issues such as imbalance and weak management by ensuring balanced competency development, strengthening curricular-extracurricular linkages, and enabling data-driven feedback. While based on a single case, the study provides implications for the systematic development and quality enhancement of extracurricular education in special-purpose universities.
