Basic Research for Competency-Based Assessment of High School Home Economics

이 연구는 2022 개정 가정과 교육과정 분석을 통해 역량 기반 평가를 위한 3차원의 구조와 구성요소를 제시하고 전문가 숙의를 통해 타당성을 검토하여 고등학교 가정과의 역량 기반 평가 방향을 제공하기 위한 목적으로 이루어졌다. 역량의 총체성, 수행성, 맥락성 관점에서 고등학교 가정과의 역량 기반 평가 구조를 제안하였다. 첫째, ‘핵심 아이디어’ 차원에서는 가정과에서 알아야 할 기초 개념이나 원리 중심으로 요소를 추출하되, 역량의 총체적 관점을 고려하여 지식⋅이해, 과정⋅기능, 가치⋅태도를 통합적으로 구조화하였다. 둘째, ‘과정’ 차원에서는 문제해결 관점에서 가정과 고유의 탐구 및 사고 전략, 기능을 분석하여 역량의 수행성을 강조하면서 가정과의 공통의 평가 준거를 설정하였다. 셋째, ‘맥락과 가치’ 차원에서는 학습자가 개인적, 가족적, 사회적, 생태적 맥락에서 가정과에서 배운 내용을 실생활과 연계하여 활용할 수 있도록 문항을 구조화하도록 제안하고, 이를 토대로 고등학교 가정과 역량 평가를 위한 평가 방향을 제안하였다.

This study aimed to provide a direction for competency-based assessment in high school home economics by analyzing the 2022 revised home economics curriculum, proposing a three-dimensional structure and components for competency-based assessment, and examining its validity through expert deliberation. A competency-based assessment structure for high school home economics was proposed from the perspectives of totality, performance, and context of competency. First, in terms of ‘core ideas,’ elements were extracted based on the basic concepts and principles that must be known in home economics, but knowledge and understanding, process and function, and values and attitudes were integrated and structured considering the holistic perspective of competency. Second, at the ‘process' level, the unique inquiry and thinking strategies and functions of home economics were analyzed from a problem-solving perspective, and common evaluation criteria for home economics were established while emphasizing the performativity of competencies. Third, in the ‘context and value’ dimension, it was proposed to structure the questions so that learners can utilize what they have learned in home economics in real life in personal, family, social, and ecological contexts, and based on this, an evaluation direction for assessing home economics education competency in high school was proposed.
