The Study on the Befindlichkeit used by Color Contrast－Focusing on <Moonlight>’ mise-en-scene analysis－

The most important thing of making film is a choice of a character`s costume. movie costume is characterized by a color that is owned symbolic meaning. The relationship of character and the other character is also considered by their movie costumes. Color scheme is consisted of complementary color and similarity color. The character’s space and character’s inner mind are very closed each other at a same time. So, all filmmakers have to consider that kind of schemeand combining color. Complementary color is very useful to <Moonlight> as a combining yellow and blue. <Moonlight> is based on the play <In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue> by Tarell Alvin Mc Craney. The main character of the <Moonlight> is not a chiron but a repressive prejudices of society around us. Chiron is wounded inner – child of our deep mind. In <Moonlight>, chiron is in the mood called Befindlichkeit by Heidegger.
