웨스 앤더슨 영화의 의상 활용 연구－영화 <그랜드부다페스트 호텔>의 유니폼 의상을 중심으로－

The Study on the Wes Anderson’s Movie Costume－Focusing on <The Grandbudapest hotel>’ Uniform costume－

Wes Anderson created his own mise-en-scene style for a storyline like a fairy tale. Wes Andersson is a director building his own unique world in visual storytelling and narrative structure. Wes Anderson is very famous for ‘adult fairy tale’ and fashionable image style. The purpose of this study is to analyze movie costume of Wes anderson and to discuss its aesthetic implications in the Wes Anderson’s costume style. This study is focused to consider the uniform costume as visual communication by wes anderson’s <the Grandbudapest hotel> movie. The Grandbudapest hotel is a genre of adventure movie of Gustave H. Gustave is a legendary concierge at a famous hotel between the first and second World Wars. Anderson’s movie costume has s characteristics like a uniform or uniform style by applying the visual symbol. The Grandbudapest hotel have a lot of uniform costumes and props by the pattern in the communication. Uniforms signify order, conformity and discipline in the public city like a modern times. Anderson is good at making a detail of characters using special colors of clothes. This study is to talk about the symbolic images appeared in Grandbudapest hotel’s costume adopted dualistic meanings in uniforms and to analyze the expression of symbol shown on the uniform design.
