<Prometheus> is a 2012 film directed by Ridley Scott that questions the origin of humans and also deals creator and creation relationship of Alien, human and artificial intelligence. Set as a prequel to long endured Alien movies series, <Prometheus shows the birth of the original alien. The creation is set similar to Christian Bible and to lesser explicit connection where birth of the Alien resembles the birth of Jesus Christ which could have led to religious controversy. However, similar to Scott’s previous film, <Kingdom of Heaven>, he remained subjective and flexible at the end of the film. Through Ridley Scott’s <Prometheus>, a look into creator and creation relationship will be examined. Also, examination of Prometheus title to Greek mythology, question about the origin of man, Jedeo-Christian value, and how the relationship between creator and creation is illustrated in the film.
