Pixar Story’s Structure and Feature in Three Act

Pixar follows the Hollywood’s 3 act structure. When we analyze Pixar animation with 3 Act structure’s perspective, we can see that I follows the basic rule of Act1, Act2, and Act3 well. In the inciting incident, something bad happens to the hero but the hero false reacts to the incident which aggravates the problem. This happening leaves the hero no choice but to start the adventure. The First Act Break is the part when the adventure begins. In the end of Act2, which is the Second Act Break, the hero achieves the goal that he made in the First Act Break. However, that happiness doesn’t last long because of a reverse situation and the hero struggles more. The crisis becomes worse that the hero has no choice but to make a definite determination. In the Climax of Act3, the definite action of the hero helps to overcome the problem and finally attains victory. We will look at how Pixar Animation followed the basic 3 Act structure.
