This paper aims to examine the origin of writing system as visual communication methods throughout pre-history age to digital technique age. The various period of time that the composition and technique skill of expression method of writing system has been developed by remediation. This study can be classified the writing system as a visual method of communication technique in terms of subtitle of framework. A point of view of the characteristics of writing system have been developed the sense of touch and sights are object of things within the culture of humankind. As a result of this study found that image and text are intermediately relate with themselves. As a matter of fact, the form and function of writing system has been developed by remediation of medium. The composition and technique skill of using subtitle are new expression of visual frameworks. Writing system in the configuration of the representation of the subtitle considered as iconology of image rather than just text we have seen before as a medium.
