Research on Characteristics of Verisimilitude in the Film <Haeundae>- Focusing on Analysis of 'Extensional Truth'-

Entering the new millennium, Korean films were highly emerging with an industrial potential at that time. However, Korean films market started to show a downward from 2007. Despite the market's depression, the breakthrough was the film <Haeundae> that 10 million people had seen. Characters' friendliness, a very likely plot and attempt to consist of verisimilar elements led the film to a great success. Especially, it mapped out various strategies to show Tsunami covering the Haeundae beach in Busan. Nevertheless it has a scenario that seems in the cards, it is a shame that the number of shots, arrangements and moving shots taken by the camera movements differ from the eyes in the process of shot by shot approach. Hence, the film <Haeundae> is imperfect in terms of spatial expression. In other words, its order of the arrangements, number of shots and camera movement in the film make audience pressured when watching through it. Regrettably, it turns out to be a little missed.
