Video is correlated with technological advancement and social change. Therefore, the Department of Video Production should also provide education on changing production technologies. In particular, as virtual production centered on Unreal Engine is rapidly developing and long-term growth is expected predicted recently, education on this is necessary. The core of virtual production is a production method that can synthesize the studio's live action and screen background in real time. If the background is not real or it is difficult to film directly in the location, Unreal Engine creates the background. Unreal Engine not only can utilize scanned real-world data, but it can also be used for assets, data, and backgrounds for free, and it is highly linked to external programs. Therefore, it can be said that the use of Unreal Engine is essential to increase the understanding and utilization of virtual production. Therefore, if the education of virtual production is centered around Unreal Engine, students can deepen the depth of pre-visualization based on existing production method to improve video production and enhancing the completeness of the work. It can also improve students' interest in virtual production, improve their job skills, and expand their creative field, free from the constraints of poor production environment. Through this study, we expect to expand virtual production education centered on unreal engines at universities to increase utilization and disseminate and develop video industry technology.
