The purpose of this study is to find the possibility of moiré phenomenon by analyzing optical cues before photographing in LED-based virtual production. The Moiré phenomenon is the interference fringe created by the periodic pattern of the camera sensor and the LED screen. Therefore, this phenomenon can be avoided by blurring LED Screen patterns through optical adjustment. To this end, the analysisable optical variables were set as 'Focus Length', 'F number', 'Circle of Confusion', 'Subject Distance', 'LED Screen Distance', 'LED Pitch', and 'Sensor Vertical Size of Camera'. In addition, a calculation formula was created to obtain the diffusion ratio of LEDs on the sensor surface. Based on the diffusion ratio of 590%, it was set as the reference point for the moiré phenomenon. Since this comes out differently for each lens and distance, an FR value that can be easily distinguished based on 1 was presented. Finally, this calculation formula was applied to real LED screen photography to verify its effectiveness.
