Due to the development and enhancing performance of computer processing and graphic expression technology, interest in computer graphics is increasing in various fields. Within these fields, the area of extended Reality (XR), including Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), is showing high levels of interest. The reason fo r such interest is most likely due to the increased demand for realistic 3D modeling to emphasis and provide a heightened sense of reality. In this paper, we propose a photogrammetry scanning method that enhances the current one being used. We propose using high dyna mic range (HDR), as a method in which to increase the efficiency and the quality of the results of the photogrammetry scanning method. High dynamic range is a technology that expands the output image expression range of the existing contrast display system to be close to the dynamic range (DR), which is the brightness range of light that can be perceived by the human eye. By applying this to the photogrammetry scanning method, higher quality 3D data can be obtained by reflecting all of the information of the object, including its shadow shading, texture, and surface detail. To verify this, three types of 3D data are produced using the existing Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) and high dynamic range photogrammetry scanning methods, and the quality is compared through point cloud comparison with the original 3D data and cross-sectional compar ison. We would like to check the effectiveness of this proposed method.
