A study on the function of movie background space as a context

We interpret events according to hypothetical contexts that we shape through our knowledge and experience of how the world works, and sometimes through our biases. So, the director creates the background space of the movie, which is the context, according to the emotional atmosphere inherent in the scenario, and according to the way he describes the context, it contributes to delivering the narrative content and the psychological state of the character to the audience. In modern films, more complex contexts have been applied to the film background space, and the ways of thinking about the context have been diversified, and the methods of reflecting it in the film background space have also diversified. Even with the same scenario, different producers can apply different contexts to the background space of a movie depending on the director to create a completely new form. Therefore, I would like to study how modern film directors interpret the context in the movie background space and how they are reflected in the story and characters.
