본 연구는 다양한 학문 영역에서 생성형 인공지능을 활용하는 것이 일반화되어 가는 시기에, 연구자들의 책임 있는 생성형 인공지능 활용을 위해 검토할 수 있는 연구윤리 지침과 음악교육 연구 수행에 관한 제언을 제공하는 데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해, 연구자는 국내외 연구윤리 지침 및 생성형 인공지능 활용 지침을 탐색하고, 생성형 인공지능 동작에 내재한 문제와 연구윤리적 이슈를 탐색하였다. 이후, 생성형 인공지능 사용상의 유의점을 간략히 도출하고, 음악교육 영역의 연구 수행에서 발생할 수 있는 연구윤리적 이슈 및 이와 관련하여 제공할 수 있는 제언 및 지침을 기술하였다. 이러한 연구는 생성형 인공지능의 책임 있는 활용을 위해 연구자들의 책무성을 보다 강조하는 연구윤리가 더욱 강조되어야 한다는 점을 피력하며, 비판적 판단력을 갖춘 연구자들의 노력이 모여 건강한 연구 생태계를 구축해야 한다는 점을 강조한다. 따라서 본 연구는 구체적인 연구윤리 지침의 제공을 통해 음악교육 연구 영역을 포함한 연구자들의 독창적이고 창의적인 연구 수행의 과정과 결과를 지원하고, 연구자들의 연구윤리 의식이 강화되는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
This study aims to provide research ethics guidelines to promote the responsible use of generative AI and to present recommendations for conducting music education research, as researchers across various academic fields increasingly utilize generative AI. To this end, the researcher explored both domestic and international research ethics guidelines concerning the use of generative AI, and examined the current issues and ethical concerns involved in its operation. Next, the researcher briefly outlined considerations regarding the use of generative AI, described potential ethical issues that may arise in music education research, and proposed several suggestions and relevant ethical guidance. This study highlights the need for greater emphasis on research ethics, particularly the accountability of researchers in ensuring the responsible use of generative AI. It also draws attention to the importance of fostering a healthy research ecosystem through the collective efforts of researchers who exercise critical judgment. Therefore, by providing specific research ethics guidelines, this study will support both the process and outcomes of original and creative research, including research conducted in the field of music education, and enhance researchers' ethical awareness.
