진로 다변화를 위한 K대학교 사범대학 교육학과 진로 로드맵 개발 사례

Developing a Career Roadmap to Support Career Diversification: A Case Study of the Department of Education, College of Education, K University

본 연구의 목적은 K대학교 교육학과 재학생의 진로 다변화를 지원하기 위한 교과·비교과 교육과정 기반의 진로 로드맵을 개발하는 데 있다. 현존자료분석과 요구분석을 바탕으로 진로 로드맵 초안을 설계하고, 재학생 인식 조사와 교수자 면담을 거쳐 이를 수정·보완한 뒤, 초점집단면담(FGI)과 전문가 검토를 통해 타당화하여 진로 로드맵 최종안을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 교육학과의 특성화 교과목을 교직 및 연구직, 교육행정, 평생교육 및 HRD, 상담심리, 교수학습의 5개 진로 분야별로 재구성하고, 학년별 진로발달단계에 따라 계열화된 교과 교육과정을 설계하였다. 또한, ‘자기탐색 및 다양한 진로분야에 대한 발견’, ‘타 대학·타 학과와의 연합 및 교류’, ‘학회·소모임 개설 및 활성화’의 세 가지 트랙과 총 7개의 세부 프로그램으로 구성된 비교과 교육과정을 개발하였다. 본 연구는 직업 세계가 불안정해진 현 상황에서, 교육학과 학생들이 다양한 경험을 통해 직업에 대한 시야를 넓히고 자신의 진로를 주체적으로 결정할 수 있도록 지원하는 데 의의가 있다.

This study aims to develop a career roadmap based on curricular and extracurricular programs to support the diversification of career paths for students in the Department of Education at K University. An initial draft of the roadmap was designed through an analysis of existing data and a needs assessment. It was then revised and refined based on student perception surveys and faculty interviews. Finally, the roadmap was validated and finalized through focus group interviews(FGI) and expert reviews. The findings are as follows: First, the specialized courses in the Department of Education were reorganized into five career domains: teacher and research, educational administration, lifelong education and human resource development(HRD), counseling psychology, and teaching and learning. A sequenced curricular program was designed according to academic years and stages of career development. Second, an extracurricular program was developed, consisting of three tracks: self-exploration and discovery of diverse career fields; collaboration and exchange with other universities and departments; and establishment and activation of academic societies and student clubs. The program included a total of seven sub-programs. This study is significant because it helps students in the Department of Education broaden their perspectives on career opportunities and make independent career decisions through diverse experiences in an increasingly unstable labor market.
