유보통합 인식 관련 국내연구 동향 분석을 통한 시사점 탐색: 2023년부터 2025년까지를 중심으로

Analyzing Domestic Research on ECEC Integration Perceptions: Implications from 2023–2025

본 연구는 최근 유보통합 인식 연구의 동향을 분석하고 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 2023년 1월부터 2025년 7월까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 27편의 논문을 게재 연도, 연구 방법, 연구 대상으로 검토하고, 연구 목적과 주요 내용을 비교·분석하였다. 분석 결과, 유보통합 연구는 증가하며, 연구 방법에서는 양적연구가, 연구 대상에서는 교직원이 가장 큰 비중을 차지하였다. 인식 주체별로 살펴보면, 교직원 연구에서는 제도 안정성과 교육과정 연계의 중요성이 강조되었고, 기관 유형과 직무에 따른 인식 차이가 나타났다. 부모 연구는 정책 수용성 제고를 위해 부모 참여가 필요함을 보여주며, 수혜자로서의 기대와 우려가 정책 설계 초기에 반영되어야 함을 시사하였다. 사회적 담론 연구는 공론화와 사회적 정당성 확보의 중요성을 제기하였고, 다중집단 연구는 집단 간 차이와 공통점을 확인하며 정책 공감대 형성을 위한 접근의 필요성을 강조하였다. 종합적으로, 유보통합은 행정적 통합을 넘어 다양한 사회 주체의 심리·사회적 수용을 기반으로 추진되어야 하는 복합적 정책임을 확인하였다.

This study aims to analyze recent research trends on perceptions of the integration of early childhood education and care (ECEC) and to draw implications. A total of 27 articles published in domestic journals between January 2023 and July 2025 were examined in terms of publication year, research methods, and research participants, and their purposes and main findings were compared and analyzed. The results show that studies on perceptions of ECEC integration have increased in recent years, with quantitative research being the most common method and teachers representing the largest group of participants. By subject of perception, studies on teachers highlighted the importance of institutional stability and curriculum linkage, revealing differences in perceptions by institution type and job position. Studies on parents indicated that parental participation is necessary to enhance policy acceptance and suggested that their expectations and concerns as beneficiaries should be reflected from the early stages of policy design. Research on social discourse raised the importance of public deliberation and securing social legitimacy, while multi-group studies identified both differences and commonalities across groups, emphasizing the need for multilayered approaches to build consensus. Overall, the findings confirm that ECEC integration should be pursued not merely as an administrative merger but as a complex policy that must be grounded in the psychological and social acceptance of diverse stakeholders.
