학습공동체 참여 대학생의 사회적·과업 응집성과 인지된 성취도의 관계에서 의사소통 능력의 매개효과

Mediating Role of Communication Competence in the Link Between Cohesion and Perceived Achievement in University Learning Communities

본 연구는 대학 학습공동체에서 사회적 응집성과 과업 응집성이 학습자의 인지된 성취도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이 관계에서 의사소통 능력이 매개 역할을 하는지를 검증하였다. 부산 지역의 B 대학교 학습공동체 참여 재학생 415명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 기술통계, 상관분석, PROCESS 매크로(Model 4)를 이용한 매개효과 및 부트스트래핑 검증을 수행하였다. 그 결과 사회적 응집성과 과업 응집성은 모두 인지된 성취도와 유의한 정적 관계를 보였고, 의사소통 능력은 두 관계에서 부분 매개효과를 나타냈다. 이는 학습공동체의 성취 인식이 단순한 결속감이나 목표 공유에 그치지 않고, 구성원 간의 질 높은 상호작용을 통해 강화된다는 점을 시사한다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과를 토대로 사회적·과업 응집성을 균형 있게 증진하고, 의사소통 역량을 체계적으로 개발할 수 있는 학습공동체 운영 전략을 제안하였다.

This study examined how social and task cohesion influence students’ perceived achievement in learning communities and tested whether communication competence mediates these relationships. Data were collected from 415 undergraduates at a university in Busan, and mediation analysis using PROCESS Macro (Model 4) showed that both social and task cohesion were positively associated with perceived achievement, partially through communication competence. These findings suggest that perceived achievement in learning communities is enhanced not merely through group solidarity or shared goals but through high-quality interpersonal interaction, highlighting strategies to foster balanced cohesion and communication competence in university learning communities.
