자기애적 나르시시즘에 대한 정신분석적 고찰과 기독교상담적 함의

Narcissistic Narcissism: A Psychoanalytic Inquiry with Implications for Christian Counseling

연구자는 자기애적 나르시시즘에 대한 프로이트(S. Freud)와 코헛(H. Kohut)의 관점을 제시한 후, 병리적 나르시시즘과 건강한 나르시시즘을 고찰하였다. 그 후 영적 우월감, 그리스도인의 건강한 자기애의 발달 과정과 영적 성숙을 살펴본 후에 건강한 자기애가 대상을 향한 사랑으로 확장되는 정신분석적 과정에 대해 연구하였다. 이어서 자기대상 재경험으로서의 기독교상담적 치료에 대해 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 자기대상으로서의 하나님의 경험, 이상화된 부모원상으로서의 영적 지도자의 역할과 공감적 관계의 장으로서의 교회공동체에 대해 조망하였다. 이를 통해 자기애적 신앙생활을 영성의 관점에서 고찰하여, 건강한 자기구축을 위한 기독교상담적 적용에 관하여 제시하였다. 기독교적 관점에서 건강한 자기애의 성숙은 영적인 성숙과 직결될 수 있다. 본 논문은 하나님의 형상(Imago Dei)을 자기대상으로 삼는 그리스도인들의 영적 성숙을 고찰하는 정신분석적 연구이다.

This inquiry outlines Freud’s and Kohut’s perspectives on narcissistic narcissism, distinguishing pathological narcissism from healthy narcissism. It then examines the sense of spiritual superiority, the developmental trajectory of healthy self-love and spiritual maturity, and the psychoanalytic process by which healthy self-love expands into object love. It further examines Christian counseling therapy as a self-object re-experience specifically, the experience of God as a self-object, the role of the spiritual leader as an idealized parental imago, and the church community as a field for an empathic relationship. On this basis, the study considers the narcissistic life of faith from the standpoint of spirituality and proposes Christian counseling applications aimed at healthy self-structure formation. From a Christian perspective, the maturation of healthy self-love is inseparable from spiritual maturity that is, growth “to the full measure of Christ.” This psychoanalytic study examines the spiritual maturity of Christians who take the Imago Dei as a self-object.
