사회복무요원의 성인애착이 복무적응에 미치는 영향: 정신건강의 매개효과

The Effects of Adult Attachment on Service Adaptation of Social Service Personnel: The Mediating effect of Mental Health

본 연구는 사회복무요원의 성인애착이 복무적응에 미치는 영향에서 정신건강의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 기초로 민원서비스 제공 업무 수행에 어려움을 겪는 사회복무요원들의 복무적응을 향상시키기 위한 개입 전략을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위해 광주광역시 및 전라남도에서 복무중인 사회복무요원 205명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 수집된 자료는 SPSS 29.0과 PROCESS Macro 4.2 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 불안애착과 회피애착 모두 정신건강과 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였으며, 복무적응과는 부적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 불안애착은 복무적응에 직접적 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 정신건강을 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미치는 완전매개 효과가 확인되었다. 셋째, 회피애착은 복무적응에 직접적 부적 영향을 미쳤고, 정신건강을 매개한 간접효과도 유의미하여 부분매개로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 사회복무요원의 성인애착이 복무적응에 미치는 영향에 있어서 정신건강이 주요 변인으로 작용함에 따라 정신건강 증진을 위한 적극적 개입의 필요성을 시사한다. 아울러 본 연구는 불안애착 유형과 회피애착 유형이 복무적응에 미치는 경로를 달리함에 따라 유형별 개입 전략의 필요성을 제안하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 사회복무요원의 복무적응 향상을 위한 상담 및 교육, 정책적 개입에 기초자료가 될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study aims to verify the mediating effect of mental health on the relationship between adult attachment and service adaptation among social service personnel. Based on these findings, it seeks to explore intervention strategies to improve service adaptation for social service personnel who experience difficulties in performing civil service duties. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with 205 social service personnel serving in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do, South Korea. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and PROCESS Macro 4.2 statistical programs. The results of this study are as follows. First, both attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance showed significant positive correlations with mental health issues and negative correlations with service adaptation. Second, attachment anxiety did not directly affect service adaptation but showed a complete mediating effect through mental health as an indirect pathway. Third, attachment avoidance had a direct negative effect on service adaptation and also showed a significant indirect effect mediated by mental health, indicating partial mediation. These results suggest that mental health serves as a key variable in the relationship between adult attachment and service adaptation among social service personnel, highlighting the necessity for active interventions to promote mental health. Furthermore, this study proposes the necessity of type-specific intervention strategies, as attachment anxiety and avoidance types affect service adaptation through different pathways. Therefore, this study is significant in that it can serve as foundational data for counseling, education, and policy interventions aimed at improving service adaptation among social service personnel.
