A Basic Study on the Development of a Practical Curriculum for Chat Counseling

본 연구는 채팅상담 실무교육과정 개발을 위한 기초자료를 마련하고자 채팅상담 교육자, 현장실무자, 예비실무자를 대상으로 포커스그룹인터뷰(Focus Group Interview, FGI)를 실시하고, 그들의 교육 주제와 방향에 대한 경험 및 요구를 수집하여 질적 내용분석 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구대상은 채팅상담 교육자 4명, 현장실무자 4명, 예비실무자 4명 총 12명으로 구성되었다. 분석 결과 ‘채팅상담 교육 주제’와 ‘채팅상담 교육 방향’ 2개 영역, 5개 범주, 15개 하위범주, 33개 개념이 도출되었다. 구체적으로 ‘채팅상담 교육 주제’ 영역에서는 ‘전문성 향상을 위한 교육’과 ‘근무환경 특수성에 대한 이해’가 확인되었으며, ‘채팅상담 교육 방향’ 영역에서는 ‘교육방법’, ‘운영방법’, ‘교육환경’ 세 범주가 도출되었다. 이러한 결과는 채팅상담 교육에서 요구되는 핵심 역량과 실행 전략을 제시함으로써, 실무 현장에 기반한 체계적인 교육과정 개발에 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study aimed to provide foundational data for the development of a training curriculum for chat-based counseling by conducting focus group interviews with chat counseling educators, current practitioners, and prospective practitioners. Through these interviews, participants’ experiences and needs regarding educational topics and directions were collected and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. The participants consisted of 12 individuals: 4 chat counseling educators, 4 current practitioners, and 4 prospective practitioners. The analysis yielded two main domains, five categories, 15 subcategories, and 33 concepts. Specifically, in the domain of “Educational Topics for Chat Counseling” two categories were identified “Training for Enhancing Professional Competence” and “Understanding the Unique Characteristics of the Work Environment.” In the domain of “Educational Directions for Chat Counseling” three categories were derived “Method of education” “Instructional Methods,” and “Educational Environment” These findings are significant in that they present core competencies and implementation strategies required for chat counseling education, thereby offering foundational data for the development of a systematic, field-based training curriculum.
