교사 지지가 진로 성숙도에 미치는 영향: 진로 결정 자기효능감과 진로 미결정의 매개효과

The Effect of Teacher Support on Career Maturity: The Mediating Effect of Career Decision-Making Self-efficacy and Career Indecision

본 연구는 청소년이 지각한 교사 지지와 진로 성숙도의 관계에서 진로 결정 자기효능감과 진로 미결정의 매개효과를 살펴보는 데 목적을 가진다. 이를 위하여 서울, 경기, 강원 등 지역 인문계 고등학생 1-3학년 100명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 교사 지지(r = .35, p < .01)와 진로 결정 자기효능감(r = .60, p < .01)은 진로 성숙도와 정적상관을, 진로 미결정(r = -.77, p < .01)은 진로 성숙도와 부적 상관을 나타냈다. 매개효과 분석 결과, 진로 결정 자기효능감은 교사 지지와 진로 성숙도 관계에서 완전 매개효과를 보였다(β = .01, p > .05; 간접효과 β = .60, p < .001). 진로 미결정도 교사 지지와 진로 성숙도 관계에서 완전 매개효과를 보였으며(β = .02, p > .05; 간접효과β = -.76, p < .001), 이는 교사 지지가 진로 결정 자기효능감 증진 및 진로 미결정 감소를 통해 진로 성숙도를 높임을 시사한다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 주체적이고 능동적인 진로 설계를 지원하기 위한 실질적인 개입방안을 모색하고 진로상담 및 교육 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

In this study, we examined the mediating effects of Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy(CDMSE) and Career Indecision(CI) in the relationship between teacher support and career maturity among 100 high school students. Results showed teacher support(r = .35, p < .01) and CDMSE(r = .60, p < .01) were positively correlated with career maturity, while CI showed a strong negative correlation(r = -.77, p < .01). Mediation analysis confirmed a complete mediating effect for both CDMSE and CI. Teacher support’s direct effect was non statistically significant(CDMSE: β = .01, p > .05; CI: β = .02, p > .05). The indirect paths, via enhanced self-efficacy(β = .60, p < .001) and reduced indecision(β = -.76, p < .001), were highly significant. These findings suggest teacher influence primarily works through psychological mechanisms. The results provide a foundational data for developing effective counseling programs focused on student self-efficacy and reducing indecision.
