국제 수소 LCA 툴 벤치마킹을 통한 한국형 엑셀 모듈 구조 설계 연구

A Study on the Design of a Korean Excel Module Structure through Benchmarking of International Hydrogen LCA Tools

This study systematically benchmarks international hydrogen life-cycle assessment (LCA) tools to enhance domestic applicability and, from the findings, develops a Korean Excel-based lightweight module (v1.0). We define 15 evaluation items spanning technical (model scope, data structure, interoperability) and layout/UX (input, validation, reporting) aspects, normalize evidence from public releases/manuals to a 0–2 scale, and compute axis-wise benchmark averages. When the same scale is applied to the proposed module, it shows performance above the benchmark in 12/15 items, with an average gain of +0.49 (of 2). UX improvement (+0.67) exceeds technical (+0.37), indicating practical usability for non-specialists. The module is built around: (1) a unified functional unit of 1 kg-H₂ and sheet-level selection of EN 15804 A/B/C boundaries; (2) transparent computation via sheet separation of input → calculation/aggregation → reporting, with formulas disclosed; and (3) error-preventive UI (conditional-format warnings, dual units, example values) plus a “Version Control” sheet to strengthen reproducibility and auditability. Internal tables (“DB [ecoinvent]”, “DB—Raw materials & utilities”) enable direct reference and substitution of base coefficients (electricity by generation source, fuels, hydrogen types), facilitating explainable reporting. Rather than competing on results, we translate structure–usability–transparency evaluations into a practitioner-friendly module that can expand via K-LCI/public data and policy scenarios to support Korean hydrogen LCA.
