A Mediating Effect of Problem-solving Ability on the Influence of Grit on Clinical Performance Ability in Nursing Students

초고령사회에서는 의료기관뿐 아니라 재택 간호, 노인복지시설 등 다양한 영역에서 전문 간호에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이에 전문 간호사를 양성하는 대학에서는 간호 역량을 강화하기 위해 임상수행능력을 높이는 교육과정을 잘 편성·운영할 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 첫째 간호대학생의 그릿은 문제해결능력, 임상수행능력과 관계가 어떠한가를 살펴보고, 둘째, 간호대학생의 그릿과 임상수행능력의 관계에서 문제해결능력의 매개효과는 어떠한지를 고찰하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 전북도 내 간호학과에 재학 중인 3~4학년 학생 345명이며, 자료는 SPSS 29.0 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 간호대학생의 그릿은 임상수행능력에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 간호대학생의 그릿은 문제해결능력에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 간호대학생의 문제해결능력은 임상수행능력에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 간호대학생의 그릿은 문제해결능력을 매개로 임상수행능력에 유의한 영향을 미친다. 따라서 간호대학생의 임상수행능력 향상을 위해서 그릿과 문제해결능력을 높일 수 있는 프로그램 개발에 주력할 필요가 있다.

In the super-aged society, the demand for professional nursing is increasing not only in medical institutions but also in various fields such as at-home nursing and welfare facilities for the elderly. Therefore, universities that train professional nurses need to organize and operate curriculums that increase clinical performance to strengthen nursing competencies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the clinical performance ability of nursing students, and first, what is the relationship between the problem-solving ability and clinical performance ability of nursing students? Second, to confirm the mediating effect of problem-solving ability in the relationship between the grit and clinical performance ability of nursing students. For the study, 345 3rd to 4th grade students enrolled in the nursing department in Jeonbuk-do were analyzed using SPSS 29.0. As a result of the study, the grit of nursing students has a significant effect on clinical performance. The grit of nursing students has a significant effect on problem-solving ability. The problem-solving ability of nursing students has a significant effect on clinical performance ability. Nursing students' grit has a significant effect on clinical performance ability through problem-solving ability. Therefore, in order to improve the clinical performance ability of nursing students, it is necessary to focus on the development of programs that can increase grit and problem-solving ability.
