기술과 몸이 만나는 교육적 장면: 통합 수업의 존재론적 조건들

Educational Scenes Where Technology Meets the Body: Ontological Conditions of Integrated Teaching

본 연구는 인공지능 기반 기술이 교육적 장면에서 어떻게 학습자의 몸, 사유, 실천과 얽히는지를 탐색하고, 이를 통합수업의 존재론적 조건으로 해석하고데 있다. 이를 위해 대학에서 미술을 전공하는 학부생 15명을 대상으로 ChatGPT를 활용한 미술 수업 설계 과정을 질적 연구 방법으로 수행하였다. 연구자는 참여관찰, 심층면담, 현지자료 등을 통합적으로 수집하고, Clarke(2005)의 상황분석(Situational Analysis)을 기반으로 하여 소상황, 매개상황, 대상황의 세 층위에서 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 학습자의 몸과 기술, 감정과 사회적 맥락이 상호 얽히며 새로운 참여의 장을 형성하는 과정이 드러났다. 이러한 결과는 인공지능 활용 수업이 단순한 도구적 행위가 아니라, 교육의 실천적 장과 기술의 세계사적 체계가 교차하는 생성의 장임을 보여준다. 본 연구는 기술과 몸, 감정과 구조의 얽힘 속에서 학습의 존재론적 층위를 새롭게 사유함으로써, 통합미술교육의 이론적 확장과 실천적 전환 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

This study explores how AI-based technologies become entangled with learners’ bodies, thinking, and practices within educational settings, interpreting such encounters as the ontological conditions of integrated art education. The research was conducted with fifteen undergraduate art majors at an art university in Seoul (three in Oriental Painting, eight in Western Painting, and four in Printmaking). Using qualitative research methods, the study examined a ChatGPT-assisted art lesson design process. Data were collected through literature review, participant observation, reflective journals, interviews, and video documentation, and were analyzed across three layers—situated, mediating, and contextual situations—based on Clarke’s (2005) Situational Analysis. The analysis revealed that learners’ bodies, technologies, emotions, and social contexts were intricately interwoven, forming a new field of participation within the learning process. These findings suggest that AI-assisted lessons are not merely instrumental activities but generative spaces where pedagogical practice and global technological systems intersect. By rethinking learning as an ontological process emerging through the intertwining of technology, body, emotion, and structure, this study proposes theoretical expansion and practical transformation for integrated art education.
