Purpose: This study was to identify the relationship between risk perception of respiratory infectious diseases and death anxiety among nurses in the COVID-19 infectious ward. Methods: The study design was a secondary data analysis study, and the participants of the study were 123 nurses who had worked in the COVID-19 wards of a tertiary hospital in Metropolitan B city. The study was conducted by analyzing secondary data. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The subject’s death anxiety was significantly correlated with perceived severity and sensitivity of risk perception of respiratory infectious diseases. Conclusion: To alleviate nurses’ death anxiety, it is necessary to develop an intervention program to reduce risk perception of respiratory infectious diseases.
