『조선왕조실록』 임사홍(任⼠洪)의 기록에 대한 감정과학 기반의 분석

An analysis based on the Science of Feelings about the records of Im Sa-hong in 『The Annals of the Joseon Dynasty』

임사홍(任⼠洪, 1445-1506)은 조선 최대 간신의 대명사로 낙인 찍히고 평가되는 인물이다. 현재까지 연산군을 다룬 많은 저서와 드라마에서 희대의 악인이자 간흉(奸凶)으로 묘사되고 있다. 본 연구자는 『조선왕조실록』에 나타난 그의 관료생활에 대한 문헌 기록을 통해, 임사홍은 '성리학(性理學)'자다. 라는 사실에 근거하여, 악인으로 평가되는 이유를 분석하고 임사홍이 악인이 아니라는 결론을 제시하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 임사홍을 악인으로 만든 대표적인 두 가지 사건 '채홍준사(採紅駿使)' 와 아들 '임희재' 의 처형 기록에 대해 조선왕조실록 ｢연산군일기｣와 ｢중종실록｣문헌을 탐색하고 감정과학 리발기수(理發氣隨)의 원리로 분석하였다. 이를 통해 임사홍이 갑자사화에서 생각을 잘못하는 감정의 몰이해 불사불학(不思不學)의 오류로 인하여 악인으로 규정되었으나, 그의 감정은 순수지선(純粹⾄善)의 리발기수(理發氣隨)가 필연적이라는 것을 증명하였으며, 감정과학의 렌즈로 역사 속 인물을 살펴 볼 때 선과 악의 구분이 아닌 다 좋은 순수지선(純粹⾄善)의 감정을 확인하고 이해 할 수 있다는 연구 의의를 제시 하였다.

Im Sa-hong(1445-1506) is a person who is branded and evaluated as the epitome of Joseon's largest heirloom. Until now, it has been described as a rare villain and liver thug in many books and dramas dealing with Yeonsan-gun. This researcher analyzed the reason why Im Sa-hong is evaluated as a villain based on the fact that he is a ‘Neo-Confucianist’ through literature records on his bureaucratic life in the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty and presented the conclusion that Im Sa-hong was not a villain. To verify this, the two representative events that made Im Sa-hong a villain, 'ChaeHongJunSa(採紅駿使)" and his son 'Im Hee-jae', were searched for the documents of 『The Annals of the Joseon Dynasty』, 『The Yeonsan-gun Diary』, and 『The Annals of King Jungjong』, and analyzed them using the principles of Science of Feelings LiBalGiSu(理發氣隨). Through this, Im Sa-hong was defined as a villain due to prejudices caused by several errors from BulSaBulHak(不思不學), but his feelings proved that LiBalKiSu(理發氣隨) of SoonSuJiSeon(純粹⾄善) was inevitable, and suggested the significance of the study that when looking at historical figures through the Science of Feelings lens, I could identify and understand the feelings of SoonSuJiSeon(純粹⾄善) , not the distinction between good and evil.
