예비초등교사의 온라인 합창지도법 수강 후 합창 지도의 실제 영역에 대한 편안함 인식 조사 - 온라인 연수를 통한 현직초등교사의 합창지도법 재교육 방향 고찰

Pre-service Elementary Teachers’ Perceived Comfort on Choral Instructional Skill Areas After Taking an Online Choral Methods Course – Offering Suggestions to In-service Elementary Music Teachers’ Online Choral Methods Professional Development

본 연구는 예비초등교사들의 온라인 합창지도법 수업에서 습득한 6가지 합창 지도의 실제 영역에 대한 편안함 인식을 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 예비초등교사 30명을 대상으로 온라인 합창지도법에서 배운 6가지 합창 수업의 실제 영역을 미래의 교실에서 합창을 지도할 때 편안하게 사용할 수 있는지를 자가 평가하였다. 연구 결과 참가자들은 온라인 합창지도법 수업에서 다룬 6가지 합창지도법 영역들에 대한 편안함을 높게 인식하였다. 6가지 합창 수업의 실제 영역 중 합창선곡지식과 합창악보연구는 온라인상에서 교육 효과가 높았던 것으로 인식하였다. 본 연구는 예비초등교사의 온라인 합창지도법 수강 후 합창 지도의 실제 영역에 대한 편안함 인식 조사에 대해서, 온라인 연수를 통한 현직초등교사의 합창지도법 재교육 방향을 다각도로 고찰하였으며, 온라인 방식의 합창지도법 수업을 통한 현직음악교사의 합창지도법 재교육 가능성과 방향성에 대한 기초자료를 도출한 것에 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine pre-service elementary teachers’ perceptions of comfort to teach six choral skills presented in an online choral methods course. Thirty undergraduate elementary music education majors enrolled in an online choral methods course responded to a pre- and post-course survey. Participants rated their comfort levels teaching six choral skills covered in the course. Participant’s overall comfort ratings on the six choral music teaching skills appeared to be high at the end of the semester. Based on participants’ online choral methods coursework experience, their comfort ratings on choral score study and choral repertoire knowledge were increased compared to the beginning of the semesters; however, their comfort ratings on vocal techniques and choral rehearsal techniques were still lower at the end of the semester. This study provides insights into online choral methods course planning for in-service elementary music teachers’ choral teaching professional opportunities.
