흥남철수정신에 대한 Z세대의 가치인식과 윤리성향이 관련 활동에의 참여 의지에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Generation Z’s Value Perception and Ethical Disposition toward the Heungnam Evacuation Spirit on Their Willingness to Participate in Related Activities

흥남철수정신은 ‘자유·평화·인도주의’ 기반의 ‘연대와 배려, 공생과 책임의 실천 정신’이다. 본 연구는 ‘흥남철수정신’에 대한 Z세대의 가치 인식과 윤리적 성향이 흥남철수정신의 올바른 이해 및 계승과 관련된 다양한 활동에의 자발적 참여 의지에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 확인하고 있다. 이에 따라, Z세대를 대상으로 한 흥남철수정신의 의미공유와 가치 계승에 있어서 다양한 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 활동의 기획, 실행, 평가의 효율성 제고를 위한 이론적, 실무적 토대를 구축하고 방향성을 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 2030 연령층이 중심인 Z세대 대상의 정량적 연구가 설문조사를 통해 실시되었다. 연구 결과, 흥남철수정신에 대한 Z세대의 가치 인식 유형과 Z세대의 윤리 성향들 간에 유의미한 상관관계가 확인되었다. 흥남철수정신에 대한 Z세대의 가치 인식과 Z세대의 윤리 성향이 흥남철수정신 관련 사업 참여 의지에 미치는 영향력도 각각의 유형별로 상이함이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 흥남철수정신의 실천 활동에 Z세대가 자발적으로 참여하도록 이끌 수 있는 주요 요인을, 그들이 인식하는 흥남철수정신의 가치와 그들의 윤리 성향을 중심으로 타당성 있게 확인하고 있다. 이에 따라, 흥남철수정신이 전후 후계 세대들에게 바르게 이해되고, 정신적인 유산으로서 그들의 삶과 문화에서 자연스럽게 공유되어 바람직하게 계승되도록 이론적 토대 및 실천 활동의 기획, 평가, 관리의 토대 구축에 기여하고 있음에 논문의 의의가 있다.

The Heungnam Evacuation Spirit is defined as the “spirit of solidarity, compassion, coexistence, and responsibility” grounded in the ideals of freedom, peace, and humanitarianism. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine how Generation Z’s value perceptions and ethical orientations toward the Heungnam Evacuation Spirit influence their voluntary willingness to participate in various activities related to understanding and succeeding it. Through this, the study aims to establish a theoretical and practical foundation to enhance the effectiveness of planning, implementing, and evaluating diverse marketing communication activities intended to share the meaning and transmit the value of the Heungnam Evacuation Spirit among Generation Z. A quantitative survey was conducted among Generation Z participants, primarily those in their 20s and 30s. The results revealed a significant correlation between the types of value perceptions of the Heungnam Evacuation Spirit and the ethical orientations of Generation Z. Furthermore, the effects of these value perceptions and ethical orientations on their willingness to participate in Heungnam Evacuation-related activities varied by type. This study identifies the key factors that can effectively encourage voluntary participation of Generation Z in the practical activities embodying the Heungnam Evacuation Spirit, focusing on the values they perceive and their ethical orientations. The findings provide a valid theoretical foundation for ensuring that the Heungnam Evacuation Spirit is properly understood by postwar generations, naturally shared as a moral and cultural heritage in their lives, and successfully carried forward. Moreover, the study offers empirical contributions to the planning, evaluation, and management of practice-oriented initiatives based on this spirit.
