청년 봉사활동에서 통합역량이 리더십역량에 미치는 영향: 경기도자원봉사센터 자원봉사 청년활동을 중심으로

The Influence of Integrative Competence on Leadership Competence in Youth Volunteer Activities: Evidence from a Community-Based Volunteer Center in Korea

본 연구는 청년 봉사활동 참여자의 통합역량이 리더십역량에 미치는 영향을 확인하는데 있다. 본 연구를 진행하기 위해 19세에서 34세 178명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS 30.0을 활용해 기술통계, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 통합역량은 리더십역량에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미친 반면, 성별, 연령, 활동경험의 통제변수들은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 청년의 리더십 발달이 연령이나 참여 경력보다 역량의 질적 통합과 자기성찰적 학습 과정에 의해 더 크게 영향을 받음을 시사한다. 본 연구를 통해 청년 봉사활동이 사회참여의 기능을 기반으로 학습과 성장의 공간으로 기능할 수 있음을 실증적으로 규명한 점에서 연구의 의의를 발견할 수 있다. 특히 청년 리더십 개발 정책과 봉사활동 프로그램 설계에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study investigates the extent to which integrative competence influences leadership competence among young adults participating in volunteer activities. A survey was administered to 178 individuals aged 19 to 34 engaged in youth volunteering programs, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 30.0 through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression. The results show that integrative competence has a statistically significant effect on leadership competence, while the control variables (gender, age, and volunteering experience) did not yield statistically significant effects. These findings suggest that youth leadership development is shaped less by demographic or experiential differences and more by the qualitative integration of competencies and reflective learning processes. The study provides empirical evidence that youth volunteer activities can function not only as mechanisms for civic engagement but also as meaningful environments for learning and personal growth. Accordingly, the results are expected to contribute foundational knowledge for the development of youth leadership policies and the design of volunteer program frameworks, particularly with regard to community-based volunteer centers.
