1인가구 대학생의 가족경험이 외로움에 미치는 영향에서 성인애착의 매개효과

The Mediating Effect of Adult Attachment on the Relationship Between Family Experiences and Loneliness Among University Students Living Alone

본 연구는 1인가구 대학생의 외로움에 대한 가족경험(가족건강성, 부모자녀관계)의 영향과 성인애착(애착불안, 애착회피)의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 2∼4학년 407명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 26.0를 사용하여 분석하였다. 외로움은 가족경험과 부적 상관, 성인애착과는 정적 상관을 보였으며, 가족경험은 성인애착과 부적 상관을 보였다. 가족건강성은 두 성인애착 모델에서 외로움에 직접효과와 성인애착을 통한 간접효과 모두 각각 유의하였다. 하지만 부모자녀관계는 애착불안 모델에서 외로움에 직접 및 간접효과는 유의하였으나, 애착회피 모델에서는 간접효과만 유의하였다. 이는 1인가구 대학생의 외로움에 대한 개입 시, 긍정적인 가족건강성 및 부모자녀관계가 중요하며, 성인애착의 차원을 고려한 맞춤형 지원의 필요성을 시사한다.

Objectives: This study examined the effects of family experiences, including family strength and parent–child relationships, on loneliness among university students living alone and tested the mediating effects of adult attachment in terms of attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance. Methods: An online survey was conducted with 407 second- to fourth-year students enrolled in four-year universities, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 26.0. Results: Loneliness showed negative correlations with family experiences and positive correlations with adult attachment, while family experiences were negatively correlated with adult attachment. Family strength showed both significant direct effects on loneliness and indirect effects through adult attachment in both attachment models. However, the parent–child relationship exhibited significant direct and indirect effects on loneliness in the attachment anxiety model, whereas only the indirect effect was significant in the attachment avoidance model. Conclusions: These findings highlight the importance of positive family strength and parent–child relationships, suggesting the need for tailored interventions that consider the dimensions of adult attachment when addressing loneliness among university students living alone.
