서울시가족센터 결혼검진 프로그램 효과성 연구

Outcome Study on the Implementation of the Korean Marriage Checkup Program in Family Centers in Seoul

결혼검진은 초단기 컨설팅 프로그램으로, 2023년부터 서울시가족센터는 결혼검진을 센터 사업으로 도입하였다. 이에 본 연구는 사업 개시 후 2년간의 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하고자 수행되었다. 서울시 10개 자치구 가족센터에서 총 230명이 결혼검진에 참여하였으며, 이중 결혼검진 사전․사후검사에 모두 응답한 153명의 자료를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 관계만족도, 친밀감, 관계 이해도, 관계향상 방법이해, 관계향상 자기효능감, 관계향상 동기의 6개 효과성 지표 모두에서 유의한 향상이 나타났다. 각 지표의 효과크기(d)는 .38∼.77로 나타났다. 상호작용효과 분석 결과, 사전검사에서 관계 만족도가 임상절단점 이하로 낮았던 집단이 검진을 통해 더 큰 관계만족도 향상을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 매개분석에서는 친밀감 향상이 관계만족도 향상의 가장 강력한 매개변인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 결혼검진이 서울시와 같은 지자체에 도입되어 시행될 때에도 효과가 보장될 수 있는 프로그램임을 시사한다.

Objectives: The Korean Marriage Checkup is a brief two-session consulting program consisting of an assessment and a feedback session. In 2023, the Seoul Family Center officially adopted the program, and this study was conducted to examine the initial outcomes of the program. Methods: Data from 153 participants across 9 centers who completed both pre- and post-assessments were analyzed. Results: Results showed significant improvements in relationship satisfaction, intimacy, relationship understanding, efficacy, and motivation, with the strongest effect for understanding strategies for relationship improvement. Participants with lower baseline satisfaction demonstrated greater gains, and second-year centers reported higher improvements than first-year centers. Mediation analyses indicated that increased intimacy most strongly explained the rise in satisfaction. Conclusions: These findings suggest that the Korean Marriage Checkup maintains its effectiveness when disseminated through local governments such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
