The Structural Relationship Among Family Support, School Career Assistance, Major Attitude, Career Exploration Behavior, and Career Choice Commitment of Students in the Agricultural and Life Sciences Track at Specialized Vocational High Schools

이 연구의 목적은 특성화고등학교 농생명산업계열 학생의 가족지지, 학교진로지원, 전공태도, 진로탐색행동 및 진로선택몰입의 구조적 관계를 구명하는 것이었다. 모집단은 특성화고등학교에서 농생명산업계열 기준학과에 속한 학생이다. 모집단의 학교 소재지와 학과 비율에 따라 9개 학교의 22개 학과에서 층화비례표집하였으며, 온라인 설문조사를 통해 수집된 자료 중 총 432개의 응답을 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 26.0과 Mplus 7.0을 활용하여 기초 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 결론으로는 첫째, 특성화고등학교 농생명산업계열 학생의 가족지지, 학교진로지원, 전공태도, 진로탐색행동 및 진로선택몰입 간의 적합한 구조적 관계 모형이 설정될 수 있다. 둘째, 학생의 가족지지, 학교진로지원, 전공태도, 진로탐색행동 모두 진로선택몰입을 높이는 데 영향을 미치며, 이 중에서도 전공태도는 진로선택몰입에 가장 큰 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 학생의 가족지지는 진로선택몰입에 직접적으로 영향을 미치지만, 전공태도와 진로탐색행동을 매개로 한 간접적인 영향이 더 크다. 한편, 학교진로지원은 진로선택몰입에 전공태도와 진로탐색행동을 매개로 한 간접적인 영향보다 직접적인 영향이 더 크며, 진로선택몰입에 미치는 학교진로지원의 영향은 가족지지보다 상대적으로 적다. 이러한 결론을 토대로 농생명산업계열 고등학생의 진로선택몰입을 향상시키기 위한 제언이 제시되었다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the structural relationships among family support, school career assistance, major attitude, career exploration behavior, and career choice commitment of students in the agricultural and life sciences track at specialized vocational high schools. The population consisted of 9,182 students enrolled in the agricultural and life sciences departments of specialized vocational high schools as of April 2024. Based on the distribution of school locations and departmental proportions, proportional stratified sampling was conducted from 22 departments across 9 schools. After excluding outliers and insincere responses from the online survey data, a total of 432 valid responses were used for the final analysis. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0 to conduct internal consistency reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multicollinearity diagnostics. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were performed with Mplus 7.0. The main findings are as follows: First, an appropriate structural relationship model can be established among family support, school career assistance, major attitude, career exploration behavior, and career choice commitment of students in the agricultural and life sciences track at specialized vocational high schools. Second, family support, school career assistance, major attitude, and career exploration behavior all had positive effects on career choice commitment, with major attitude having the strongest influence. Third, while family support had a direct effect on career choice commitment, its indirect effect through major attitude and career exploration behavior was greater. On the other hand, school career assistance had a greater direct effect on career choice commitment than its indirect effects through major attitude and career exploration behavior, and its overall impact on career choice commitment was relatively smaller than that of family support. Based on these results, several implications and recommendations were proposed to enhance career choice commitment among students in the agricultural and life sciences track at specialized vocational high schools.
