This study examined the effects of self-esteem and school adjustment on adolescent’s victimization experience of school violence. The study sample was 1326 middle school(677 boys, 649 girls) who had participated in the twenty first wave of the Panel Study on Korean Children (PSKC). The data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlations and regression analysis with SPSS 29.0. The results are as follows. First, self-esteem and school adjustment had a significant correlation on adolescent’s victimization experience of school violence. Second, School friends and School life are predict variables for adolescent’s victimization experience of school violence. These results add to a better understanding of the mechanism linking self-esteem and school adjustment on victimization experience of online and offline school violence in adolescent. The implication of the findings of the current study and suggestions for future research were also discussed.
