외톨이 청소년의 학교생활 실태와 진로 지원 방안에 관한 교사의 인식 연구: 학교-교사-지역사회의 역할을 중심으로

A Study on Teachers’ Perceptions of the School Life and Career Support Plans for Lonely Youth: Focusing on the Roles of Schools, Teachers, and the Community

본 연구는 외톨이 청소년의 학교생활 실태와 진로 지원 방안에 대한 진로진학상담 전문가들의 경험과 인식을 심층적으로 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구의 연구문제는 첫째, 학교 내 외톨이고립청소년의 학교생활은 어떠한가? 둘째, 학교 내 외톨이고립청소년의 또래관계는 어떠한가? 셋째, 학교 내 외톨이고립청소년의 진로와 직업탐색은 어떠한가? 넷째, 학교 내 외톨이고립청소년의 회복과 성장을 위한 학교의 역할은 무엇인가? 다섯째, 학교 내 외톨이고립청소년의 회복과 성장을 위한 교사의 역할은 무엇인가? 여섯째, 학교 내 외톨이고립청소년의 회복과 성장을 위한 지역사회의 역할은 무엇인가? 였다. 이를 위하여 교직 생활 중 외톨이 학생을 경험한 교사 14명을 대상으로 2025년 6월 1주~6월 2주까지 인터뷰를 실시하고 합의적 질적 연구방법으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, ‘교사가 인식한 학교 내 외톨이 고립 청소년의 학교생활’, ‘교사가 인식한 학교 내 외톨이 고립 청소년의 대인관계’, ‘교사가 인식한 학교 내 외톨이고립 청소년의 진로와 직업탐색’, ‘교사가 인식한 학교 내 외톨이 고립 청소년의 회복과 성장을 위한 학교의 역할’, ‘교사가 인식한 학교 내 외톨이 고립 청소년의 회복과 성장을 위한 교사의 역할’, ‘교사가 인식한 학교 내 외톨이 고립 청소년의 회복과 성장을 위한 지역사회의 역할’의 6개 영역에서 25개 범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구는 외톨이 청소년 지원 정책 수립과 현장 실무에 유용한 기초자료를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다.

A Study on Teachers' Perceptions of the School Life and Career Support Programs of Isolated Youth: Focusing on the Roles of Schools, Teachers, and the Community. This study aimed to explore in-depth the experiences and perceptions of career counseling professionals regarding the school life and career support programs of isolated youth. The research questions for this study are as follows: First, What is the school life of isolated youth? Second, What are the peer relationships of isolated youth? Third, What are the career and occupational explorations of isolated youth? Fourth, What is the role of schools in the recovery and growth of isolated youth? Fifth, What is the role of teachers in the recovery and growth of isolated youth? Sixth, What is the role of the community in the recovery and growth of isolated youth? To this end, 14 teachers who had experienced isolated students during their teaching careers were interviewed from the first to second week of June 2025. The interviews were conducted and analyzed using a consensual qualitative research method. The results of this study identified 25 categories in six areas: “School Life of Isolated Youth as Perceived by Teachers,” “Interpersonal Relationships of Isolated Youth as Perceived by Teachers,” “Career and Career Exploration of Isolated Youth as Perceived by Teachers,” “The Role of Schools in the Recovery and Growth of Isolated Youth as Perceived by Teachers,” “The Role of Teachers in the Recovery and Growth of Isolated Youth as Perceived by Teachers,” and “The Role of the Community in the Recovery and Growth of Isolated Youth as Perceived by Teachers.” This study is significant in that it provides useful baseline data for policy development and field practice for supporting isolated youth.
