국내 발달장애 성인 단일대상연구의 체계적 문헌고찰 및 CEC 질적분석

A Systematic Review and CEC-Based Quality Analysis of Single-Subject Research on Adults with Developmental Disabilities in Korea

본 연구는 국내 성인 발달장애인을 대상으로 수행된 단일대상연구의 동향, 일반적 특성과 질적 수준을 체계적으로 분석하기 위해 PRISMA 절차에 따라 2007년부터 2025년까지 발표된 문헌을 검색․선별하였으며, 최종적으로 19편을 분석하였다. 선정된 논문은 PICO 체계에 따라 참여자, 중재, 설계 유형, 결과 변인을 중심으로 구조화하여 분석하였으며, CEC 질적지표를 적용하여 연구의 방법론적 타당성을 평가하였다. 참여자는 주로 지적장애 성인이었으며, 연령은 20대 초반이 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 연구 설계는 대상자간 중다간헐기초선설계 10편으로 가장 많이 사용되었고 대상자간․행동간 중다기초선설계는 2편씩 활용되었다. 종속변인은 직업 및 일상생활기술, 의사소통․언어, 문제행동, 학습인지 등 기능적 영역에 초점을 두었고, 독립변인은 스마트기기 중재, 자기관리, 비디오 기반 교수, 시각적 구조화, 기능적 교수, 지각운동능력, 신체운동, 긍정적 행동지원 등 다양한 근거기반 중재로 구성되었다. 유지 및 일반화 평가는 연구 간 보고 수준의 편차가 컸으며, 사회적 타당도는 14편에서만 분석되었고 평가자는 주로 전문가였으며 대상자나 보호자를 대상으로 한 평가는 소수에 그쳤다. CEC 분석 결과, 참여자 정보와 종속변인 기술은 비교적 충실하였으나, 중재자 정보와 중재 충실도 보고는 전반적으로 미흡하였다. 내적 타당도는 대체로 적절히 충족되었으나 일부 지표에서는 보고가 불완전하였다. 본 연구는 국내 성인 발달장애인을 대상으로 한 단일대상연구의 구조적․방법론적 특성을 제시함으로써 향후 근거기반 중재와 연구 질 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공한다.

This study systematically reviewed single-subject research (SSR) involving adults with developmental disabilities in South Korea. Following PRISMA guidelines, 19 studies published between 2007 and 2025 were identified. Study characteristics were coded using the PICO framework, and methodological rigor was assessed using CEC quality indicators for single-subject design (SSD). Participants were predominantly adults with intellectual disabilities in their early twenties. Multiple-probe designs were most frequently employed. Dependent variables targeted functional domains, such as vocational and daily living skills, communication, problem behavior, and cognitive-academic outcomes. Interventions encompassed smart device–assisted instruction, self-management, video-based instruction, visually structured methods, functional instruction, sensory supports, perceptual–motor skills training, and positive behavior support (PBS). Maintenance, generalization, and social validity were inconsistently reported. CEC-based analysis indicated strong reporting of participant characteristics and outcome measurement but limited information on interventionist and procedural fidelity. Internal validity was generally adequate. This study outlines the structural and methodological characteristics of SSR involving adults with developmental disabilities in South Korea, providing foundational data to guide future evidence-based interventions and improve research quality.
