연극치료 진단도구 확장을 위한 REN(역할·감정·욕구 관계도) 적용 연구 –가정폭력 트라우마 사례 분석을 바탕으로–

A Study on the Application of the REN (Role-Emotion-Need Relationship Map) to Expand the Diagnostic Tool for Drama Therapy -Based on an Analysis of Family Violence Trauma Cases-

본 연구는 연극치료 진단도구 확장 및 활용성 제고를 목적으로 한다. 연구자가 ‘역할점검표’를 확장하여 역할 기반 연극치료 진단 도구로 개발한 ‘역할·감정·욕구 관계도(REN)’의 타당성과 신뢰성을 높이고, 그 임상적 활용성을 체계적으로 입증하기 위해 이론적 및 방법론적 기반을 강화하고자 한다. 연구 내용에서는 연극치료 진단 도구의 활용 현황을 논의한 후 REN의 필요성, 검사 절차, 해석 방법, 효과성 및 향후 과제에 대한 체계적 고찰을 통해 연극치료 진단도구 확장에 대한 기여도를 밝히고자 한다. REN의 효과성 검증을 위하여 가정폭력 트라우마 참여자를 대상으로 REN을 적용한 사례를 분석하였으며, 이를 통해 그 임상적 유용성을 입증하고자 한다. 연구자는 상담 현장에서 참여자가 진단도구를 통하여 직접 자기 인식과 성찰을 촉진하고, 사전·사후 변화를 직관적으로 파악할 수 있는 연극치료 진단도구의 필요성을 인식하였다. 연구자는 역할점검표에 감정과 욕구 목록을 추가하고, 세 요소를 체계적으로 연계하여서 한 눈으로 볼 수 있도록 시각적 직관성을 강화한 ‘역할·감정·욕구 관계도(REN)’를 고안하였다. REN은 참여자가 자신의 역할·감정·욕구의 연쇄적 작용을 직접 눈으로 확인하며 현재의 심리적 상태를 인식하고 성찰할 수 있는 계기를 제공하는 지표이자 심리적 지도가 될 수 있다. REN은 단순한 진단도구를 넘어 이를 활용한 연극치료 방법론으로도 적용할 수 있다. 이처럼 REN은 진단과 치료과정이 연속적으로 연계되는 통합적 과정을 제공한다. 이에 본고는 연극치료 분야의 고유한 진단/치료 통합모델로서의 학문적 및 실천적 정당성을 입증하고 향후 보완 연구 방향성에 대해 논하고자 한다.

This study aims to expand and enhance the usability of drama therapy diagnostic tools. The researcher developed the "Role-Emotion-Need Rlationship Map (REN)", an expanded version of the "Role Checklist," into a role-based drama therapy diagnostic tool. This study aims to strengthen the theoretical and methodological foundations for enhancing the validity and reliability of the tool and systematically demonstrate its clinical applicability. The study begins by discussing the current state of drama therapy diagnostic tools and systematically examines the necessity, testing procedures, interpretation methods, effectiveness, and future tasks of the REN. This study aims to elucidate its contribution to the expansion of drama therapy diagnostic tools. To verify the effectiveness of the REN, a case study was conducted using the tool with participants experiencing domestic violence trauma, demonstrating its clinical utility. The researcher recognized the need for a drama therapy diagnostic tool that facilitates participants' self-awareness and reflection in the counseling setting, and allows them to intuitively assess pre- and post-treatment changes. The researcher added a list of emotions and needs to the role checklist and developed the "Role-Emotion-Need Relationship Map (REN)" to systematically link the three elements and enhance visual intuition for a single view. The REN can serve as an indicator and psychological map, allowing participants to directly observe the chain reaction of roles, emotions, and needs, thereby recognizing and reflecting on their current psychological state. Beyond being a simple diagnostic tool, the REN can also be applied as a drama therapy methodology. In this way, the REN provides an integrated process where diagnosis and treatment are continuously linked. Therefore, this paper aims to demonstrate its academic and practical legitimacy as a unique diagnostic/therapeutic integrated model in the field of drama therapy and discuss directions for future supplementary research.
