대학원 정보공시 개선 방안 탐색을 위한 기초 연구

A Preliminary Study on the Alternatives for the Improvement of a Graduate School Information Sharing System in South Korea

본 연구는 대학원 정보공시 개선 방안을 탐색하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이는 대학정보공시제를 통해 제공되고 있는 대학원 정보가 대학원 질 관리를 위한 기제로 기능하기 위한 방향을 정립하고 구체적인 방안을 마련하기 위한 것이다. 대학정보공시 및 대학원 정보공시에 대한 선행연구 분석 결과를 토대로 질문지를 구성하고 고등교육 분야 전문가를 대상으로 서면 FGI를 실시하였다. 대학원 정보공시 개선 방안에 대한 전문가 집단 의견 수집을 위한 질문지 내용은 대학원 질 관련 핵심요인, 대학원 평가체제 구성 및 운영, 대학원 평가를 위한 수요자별 정보제공 방식, 대학원 유형별 평가 방법, 대학원 공시항목 추가 발굴 및 예상 문제점, 대학원 핵심 성과지표 시각화의 기대효과와 예상 문제점, 효과적인 대학원 질 관리 및 대학원 정보공시 개선방안, 대학원 추가 공시항목의 적절성 등으로 구성되었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 대학원 정보공시 개선 방안을 제언하였다.

This study explored strategies for improving the disclosure of graduate school information in South Korea. It aimed establish direction and develop concrete measures so that information disclosed through the Higher Education Information Disclosure System can function as a mechanism for managing the quality of graduate education. Based on an analysis of previous studies related to higher education information disclosure and graduate school information disclosure, a questionnaire was developed, and a written focus group interview (FGI) was administered to experts in the field of higher education. The questionnaire designed to collect expert opinions on improving graduate school information disclosure included the following areas: key factors related to the graduate school’s quality; the structure and operation of the graduate school’s eval uation systems; methods of providing information tailored to different stakeholders for the purpose of evaluation; evaluation approaches by type of graduate school; identification of additional disclosure items and potential challenges; expected benefits and possible issues related to visualizing the core performance indicators of graduate schools; strategies for effective quality management and improvement of information disclosure; and the appropriateness of adding new disclosure items. Based on the findings, the study proposes recommendations for improving the graduate school information disclosure system.
