어린이철학에 관한 국내 연구 동향 분석 - 1990년부터 2025년 연구를 중심으로 -

An Analysis of Domestic Research Trends in Philosophy for/with Children — Studies Published Between 1990 and 2025 —

본 연구의 목적은 국내 어린이철학의 연구 동향을 분석하고, 향후 연구 방향에 대한 시사점을 도출하는 데 있다. 체계적 문헌고찰 방법을 적용하여 1990년부터 2025년 7월까지 발표된 국내 연구 250편을 연대별·영역(주제)별·방법별·대상별로 연구의 분포와 구조적 특징을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 연대별로는 2000년 이후 연구가 양적으로 급격히 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 영역(주제)별로는 교과교육 분야, 특히 도덕(윤리)교육에 연구가 집중되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구방법으로는 문헌연구가 큰 비중을 차지하였으며, 연구대상은 비인적 연구 중심으로 이루어져 학생·교사 등을 포함한 인적 대상 연구가 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 어린이철학 연구가 이론과 실천을 긴밀히 연결하는 통합적 연구 생태계를 구축하고, 교사 연수 등 정책적 지원이 지속적으로 이루어진다면 어린이철학은 학교 현장에서의 활용성과 교육적 영향력이 확대될 것으로 보인다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends in Philosophy for/with Children in Korea and to suggest directions for future research. A systematic literature review was conducted to examine the distributional and structural characteristics of 250 domestic studies published between 1990 and July 2025, categorized by year, thematic area, research method, and unit of analysis. Results showed a sharp increase in research output in the early 2000s, followed by a stable upward trend. Studies were largely concentrated in subject-matter education, particularly moral and ethics education, and literature-based research predominated, while studies involving human participants such as students or teachers were relatively scarce. These findings suggest the need to strengthen an integrated research ecosystem that connects theory and practice, supported by sustained policy efforts such as teacher training to establish children’s philosophy as a core educational paradigm.
