Exploring Improvement Measures for Lifelong Education Field Practice from the Perspective of Lifelong Education Field Practice Supervisors

연구배경 : 현대 사회에서 평생교육사의 역할이 점차 중요해짐에 따라, 현장실습 경험의 중요성이 다시금 주목받고 있다. 이에 따라 평생교육사 자격제도의 변화와 현장실습의 질적 향상을 요구하는 사회적 목소리가 높아지고 있다. 연구목적 : 평생교육 현장실습의 운영현황과 문제점을 규명하고, 실습지도자의 경험과 인식을 통해 개선방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구방법 : 질적 연구 접근법을 적용하여 다양한 현장 경험을 가진 실습지도자를 참여자로 선정하고, 심층 면담을 통해 중요 경험과 의견을 수집·분석하였다. 연구결과 : 현행 운영에서는 제도, 실습 기관, 운영지침·매뉴얼, 실습지도자, 실습생 관련 문제가 드러났다. 개선방안으로는 실습 기관 선정기준 상향과 인증제 도입, 운영지침·매뉴얼의 주기적 개정, 지도자 역량 강화가 강조된다. 시사점 : 본 연구는 현장실습의 질적 향상을 위한 구체적 방안을 제시하며, 실습생의 실무능력 향상과 향후 교육 프로그램 및 정책 개선에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

Background : As the role of lifelong educators grows increasingly important in modern society, the significance of field training experiences is receiving renewed attention. Consequently, there is a growing societal demand for changes to the lifelong educator certification system and for the qualitative improvement of field training. Purpose : To identify the current status and issues in operating lifelong education field training and to explore improvement strategies through the experiences and perceptions of field training supervisors. Approach : Applying a qualitative research approach, field supervisors with diverse practical experience were selected as participants. Key experiences and opinions were collected and analyzed through in-depth interviews. Findings : Current operations revealed problems related to the system, field institutions, operational guidelines/manuals, field supervisors, and trainees. Improvement measures emphasized include raising the selection criteria for training institutions, introducing a certification system, periodically revising operational guidelines and manuals, and strengthening instructor competencies. Implications : his study suggests concrete measures for enhancing the quality of field training. It implies that these findings can serve as foundational data for improving trainees' practical skills and for future educational program and policy improvements.
