한부모 여성의 재혼선택과 재혼생활 경험에 관한 내러티브 탐구

A narrative study on single-parent women's choice to remarry and experiences of remarried life

본 연구는 한부모 생활 후 재혼한 여성을 대상으로 한부모 생활과 재혼 선택, 그리고 재혼 생활에 대한 경험과 그 의미를 이해하고자 수행되었다. 연구참여자는 이혼, 사별 등으로 한부모 생활을 하다가 재혼한 3명의 여성으로 구성되었다. 내러티브 탐구 방법을 통해 연구참여자들의 재혼 경험과 그 의미를 시간성, 사회성, 장소의 3차원적 공간을 바탕으로 살펴보았다. 자료 분석을 통한 삶의 의미는 <미안함, 죄송스러움, 막막함: 고군분투하며 살아온 한부모 생활>, <불안감, 기대감, 끌려감: 다시 시작하는 결혼생활에 대한 기대와 불안감들>, <억울함, 배신감, 지침: 위기에서 흔들리는 결혼생활>, <양보, 배려, 수용: 가정을 지키고 싶은 간절함>, <안정감, 든든함, 감사함: 소망을 가진 가정으로>로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 한부모 여성의 재혼 과정의 경험과 재혼 이후의 삶을 탐색함으로써 재혼여성들에게 필요한 사회복지적 실천 개입 자료를 제공함에 의의가 있다.

This study was conducted to understand the experience and meaning of single parent life, remarriage choice, and remarriage life targeting remarried women. The participants in the study consisted of three women who remarried after living as a single parent due to divorce or bereavement. Through the narrative inquiry method, the remarriage experience of the research participants and its meaning were examined based on the three-dimensional space of time, sociality, and place. The meaning of life through data analysis can be found in <sorry, sorry, helpless: the life of a single parent struggling>, <anxiety, anticipation, dragging: expectations and anxieties about restarting married life>, <resentment, sense of betrayal, can't stand it: married life in crisis>, <concession, consideration, acceptance: desperation to protect the family>, <security, reliable, thankfulness: to a hopeful family>. Through this study, it is meaningful to provide necessary social welfare practice intervention data for remarried women by exploring the experience of single-parent women's remarriage process and life after remarriage.
