다기관 협력을 통한 은둔 청소년의 회복과정 – 선택이론의 현실치료와 생태체계이론의 관점 –

The Recovery Process of Secluded Adolescents through Multicenter Cooperation – A Perspective on the Theory of Reality Therapy and Ecological System based on Choice Theory –

이 연구는 약 4∼5년간 여러 기관이 협력하여 지원한 사례로, 학령기의 은둔 청소년이 사회와 학교로 복귀하는 과정을 추적한 질적 종단 단일사례연구이다. 연구 자료로 상담사의 상담일지, 사회복지사의 사례관리 기록, 지역사회 기관의 분기별 협의회 문서, 학교-기관의 협의회 기록, 연구자의 참여관찰 기록 등을 수집하였으며, 기간은 2021년 11월부터 2025년 11월로, 연구 참여자가 은둔을 시작한 중학교 2학년 시점부터 고등학교 3학년 졸업 직전까지로 설정하였다. 분석은 시간의 흐름 속 주요 변화 배열, 전환 사건 중심의 코딩, 생태체계 관점의 해석, 현실치료(WDEP) 기반 심리분석 순으로 하였으며, 내ž외적 변화를 통합하여 해석하였다. 분석 결과, 내담자의 회복은 크고 빠른 변화가 아니라 내부 통제적인 작은 선택이 반복되면서 나타났다. 특히, 상담실의 첫 내방, 사회활동에 첫 참여, 작은 계획에 대한 합의들은 WDEP 순환 속 재선택의 결과였다. 또한, 기관 간의 시기별 리드 역할, 속도 조율, 계획 실패 시의 완충 지원 등은 내담자 회복을 지속시키는 주요한 요소이며, 기관 간의 소통은 중간체계로서 청소년에게 안전한 중간적 장이 되었고, 은둔 청소년과 가정은 회복과정에서 서로에게 성장의 동력이 되었다. 은둔 청소년은 지역사회 기관의 방문상담으로 관계의 첫 접점이 시작이었으며, 지역의 소규모 활동에서 수용 받은 경험은 회피행동의 감소와 사회적 접촉 유지로 이어졌다. 나아가 내적 선택(WDEP)과 학교의 유연한 행정적 배려, 교육청-학교-지역사회가 협력한 중간체계 중심의 ‘생태적 선택 과정’ 속에서 회복이 가속화되고 유지되었다.

This study is a case of cooperation and support by several institutions for about 4 to 5 years, and is a qualitative longitudinal single case study that tracks the process of school-age reclusive youth returning to society and school. As research data, the counselor's counseling journal, social worker's case management record, quarterly council documents of community organizations, school-institutional council records, and researchers' participatory observation records were collected. The period was set from November 2021 to November 2025, from the second year of middle school when the study participant began to seclusion to just before graduation from the third year of high school. The analysis was in the order of arrangement of major changes in time, coding centered on transition events, interpretation of the perspective of the ecological system, and psychological analysis based on Reality Therapy (WDEP), and internal and external changes were integrated and interpreted. As a result of the analysis, the client's recovery was not a large and rapid change, but appeared as small internal and controlled choices were repeated. In particular, the first visit to the counseling room, the first participation in social activities, and agreements on small plans were the result of reselection in the WDEP cycle. In addition, the role of lead by period between institutions, speed coordination, and buffer support in case of plan failure are major factors that sustain client recovery, and communication between institutions has become a safe intermediate field for adolescents as an intermediate system, and reclusive youth and families have become a driving force for each other's growth in the recovery process. The first contact point for reclusive youth began with visiting counseling from local community institutions, and the experience of being accepted in small-scale local activities led to a decrease in avoidance behavior and maintenance of social contact. In addition, recovery was accelerated and maintained in the “ecological selection process” centered on the intermediate system, which included internal choice (WDEP), flexible administrative consideration of schools, and cooperation between the Office of Education, School, and the community.
