학교상담자를 위한 동료 컨설팅 모형 개발: FGD와 델파이 방법을 중심으로

Development of a Peer Consulting Model for School Counselors Based on Focus Group Discussions and Delphi Methods

연구목적: 본 연구는 동료 컨설팅에 대한 학교상담자들의 경험과 의견을 반영한 동료 컨설팅 모형을 개발하여 학교상담자의 역량 강화 및 자기효능감을 증진하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 FGD(Focus Group Discussion)를 활용하였으며, 긍정탐색(Appreciative Inquiry) 기법을 적용하여 학교상담자들의 경험과 요구를 도출한 뒤 이를 기반으로 동료 컨설팅 모형을 개발하였다. 또한 개발된 모형은 검토 과정을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다. 연구대상: 본 연구는 2024년 U시 지역의 학교상담자 중 FGD 참여 요건을 충족한 16명을 편의표집하여 동료 컨설팅 모형 개발을 위한 질적 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과: 연구를 통해 개발된 동료 컨설팅 모형은 위기진단, 사정, 자원, 평가의 네 단계로 구성되었으며, 각 단계는 단순한 선형적 절차가 아닌 순환적 구조로 설계되어 학교 현장에서 유연하게 적용 가능하도록 구성하였다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구에서 개발된 동료 컨설팅 모형은 학교상담자들의 실제 경험과 의견을 반영한 실천적 모형으로, 향후 학교상담자들의 자발적 동료 컨설팅 참여를 촉진하고 역량 강화 및 자기효능감 증진에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Purpose: This study aimed to develop a peer consulting model designed to enhance school counselors’ professional competencies and self-efficacy. Method: Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) based on the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) approach were conducted to explore and integrate school counselors’ experiences and insights into the model design. Participants: Sixteen school counselors from U City participated in the FGDs and were recruited through convenience sampling in 2024. Results: The peer consulting model developed in this study consists of four stages—Crisis Assessment, Assessment, Resources, and Evaluation. Each stage was designed not as a simple linear sequence but as a cyclical structure, allowing for flexible and context-responsive application in school settings. Conclusion: As the model is grounded in real-world experiences of school counselors, it is expected to encourage voluntary participation and contribute to high levels of satisfaction in future peer consulting practices.
