This study aimed to examine the levels of empathy, multicultural experience, cultural sensitivity, and multicultural acceptance among nursing students, and to identify factors influencing multicultural acceptance to provide foundational data for its improvement. A total of 142 nursing students participated, and data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 26.0 with descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, Scheffe tests, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Multiple regression analysis revealed that cultural sensitivity(β=0.55, p<.001), multicultural experience(β=0.36, p<.001), empathy(β=0.13, p=.026), gender(β=0.13, p=.028), and overseas travel or residence experience(β=0.11, p=.046) were significant predictors of multicultural acceptance, with an explanatory power of 65.9%. This study provides valuable insights for enhancing multicultural acceptance among nursing students and serves as a basis for developing educational programs that cultivate cultural competence. Such programs can help future healthcare professionals understand patients from diverse cultural backgrounds and provide safe, culturally sensitive nursing care.
