Exploring the Inquiry Structure in the 2022 Revised Home Economics Curriculum: Implications for Curriculum Design

본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정이 강조하는 탐구 지향성이 가정과 교육과정에서 어떻게 제시되고 있는지를 분석하고, 가정과 탐구 기반 교육과정 설계의 개선 방향을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 2022 개정 가정과 교육과정은 핵심 아이디어 중심의 내용체계와 과정⋅기능 범주 도입을 통해 탐구 기반 교육과정을 위한 중요한 기반을 마련하였다. 다만 탐구 수행의 사고 구조와 흐름을 교육과정 문서 차원에서 더욱 명료하게 드러낼 수 있는 개선 가능성이 확인되었다. 이에 본 연구는 C3 Framework와 IB가 탐구 과정을 교육과정 문서에서 어떻게 구조화하고 제시하는지 분석하여, 가정과 교육과정이 지닌 실천적 문제 해결 중심의 고유한 탐구 특성을 보다 명료하게 드러낼 수 있는 설계 원리를 도출하였다. 본 연구는 가정과 교육과정에서 탐구 기반 교육을 실질적으로 구현하기 위해 탐구 구조의 명료화, 내용체계와 성취기준 간 정합성 강화, 교수⋅학습⋅평가 지침과의 연계 체계화가 필요함을 제안한다.

This study aims to analyze how the inquiry orientation emphasized in the 2022 Revised Curriculum is presented in the technology & home economics curriculum, and to explore directions for improving inquiry-based curriculum design in Home Economics education. The 2022 Revised home economics curriculum has established an important foundation for inquiry-based education through the introduction of a content system centered on core ideas and the process⋅skill category. However, the analysis confirmed the potential for improvement in more clearly articulating the cognitive structure and flow of inquiry processes at the curriculum document level. Accordingly, this study analyzed how the C3 Framework and IB structure and present inquiry processes in curriculum documents, and derived design principles that can more clearly articulate the unique inquiry characteristics of Home Economics education centered on practical problem-solving. The study proposes that to substantively implement inquiry-based education in Home Economics curriculum, it is necessary to clarify inquiry structures, strengthen coherence between content systems and achievement standards, and systematize connections with teaching-learning and assessment guidelines.
