예비윤리교사 교육서비스 개선을 위한 IPA 기반 요구조사

IPA-based Needs Assessment for Improving Pre-Service Ethics Teacher Education Services

본 연구는 예비윤리교사인 윤리교육과 학생에게 제공해야 할 교육서비스의 우선순위를 도출하여, 학과 및 대학의 지원방향을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 충북 소재 A대학교 윤리교육과 재학생 64명을 대상으로 전공 만족도, 대학생활 요구사항, 교육서비스의 중요도와 실행도를 조사하였다. 분석 결과, 학생들은 전공학습의 심화와 진로·취업 준비를 가장 중요하게 인식한 반면, 심리상담이나 국제교류 등 비교과 영역에 대한 관심은 낮았다. 이러한 인식은 IPA 분석에서도 나타나, 전공지식 및 기술의 습득, 실무역량 강화, 취업준비가 지원이 필요한 핵심 영역으로 확인되었다. 반면 학생활동 및 각종 심리상담 지원활동은 중요도에 비해 과도한 지원이 이루어지고 있어, 학년과 진로 단계를 고려한 개별 지원 체제로의 전환이 필요함을 시사하였다. 이상의 결과를 통해, 예비윤리교사들은 대학을 단순한 적응의 장이 아니라 교직 전문성을 쌓는 성장의 공간으로 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 일반 설문과 IPA 분석을 병행하여 예비윤리교사의 요구를 다각적으로 탐색함으로써, 학과 및 대학의 교육서비스 정책 수립에 필요한 실질적 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study was conducted to identify the priority of educational services that should be provided to pre-service ethics teachers and to propose directions for supprt at the departmental and institutional levels. 64 students majoring in ethics education at a university in Chungbuk participated in the survey, which examined their satisfaction with the major, need in univ. life, and perceptions of the importance and performance of educational services. The results revealed that students place the highest importance on deepening their major studies and preparing for future careers, while showing relatively low interest in non-curricular. Consistent with these perceptions, the IPA indicated that the acquisition of professional knowledge and skills, enhancement of practical competence, and career preparation were key ares requiring improvement. In contrast, student activities and counseling programs appeared to be over-supported relative to their perceived importance, suggesting a need for more individualized support that considers students’s grade level and career stage. These findings indicated that pre-services ethics teachers perceive the university not merely as a place for adaption but as a space for professional growth. By combining general survey analysis with IPA, this study provides a multidimensional understanding of pre-service ethics teachers’ needs and offers practical data for developing educational services polices.
