텍스트마이닝을 활용한 국내 교원양성 교육과정 연구동향 분석

Exploring Research Trends in the Curriculum of Teacher Education Programs in Korea using Text Mining

본 연구는 텍스트마이닝을 활용하여 국내 교원양성 교육과정 연구 동향을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2002년 1월부터 2025년까지 발표된 KCI 등재 및 등재후보 학술지 814편 논문의 국문초록을 대상으로 빈도분석, 의미연결망 분석, 토픽모델링을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, ‘과목’, ‘학생’, ‘수업’, ‘내용’ 등의 단어가 높은 빈도로 나타나 교원양성 교육과정 연구가 교과 구성, 수업 실행, 학습자 경험을 중심으로 전개되고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 ‘과목–내용–방법–학생–수업–역량–개발/운영’의 핵심 구조가 도출되었으며, 토픽모델링 결과, 예비교사 대상 수업 설계와 실행, 예비교사의 교육과정 인식과 경험, 교원양성 교육과정 체제 개선, 교과교육과정 비교․분석, 교원양성 교육과정 담론의 다섯 가지 주제가 도출되었다. 이는 국내 교원양성 교육과정 연구가 정책·제도, 실천·경험, 담론으로 구성된 다층적 구조를 보이고 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 텍스트마이닝을 통해 국내 교원양성 교육과정 연구의 전반적 흐름을 체계적으로 제시하고, 학술적 공백에 근거하여 향후 교원양성 교육과정 연구의 방향성을 제시했다는 의의를 지닌다.

This study aimed to analyze research trends in teacher education curriculum in Korea using text mining techniques. For this purpose, frequency analysis, semantic network analysis, and topic modeling were conducted on the Korean abstracts of 814 articles published in KCI-indexed and KCI candidate journals between January 2002 and 2025. The results revealed that keywords such as course, student, instruction, and content appeared most frequently, indicating that research on teacher education curriculum has primarily focused on curriculum organization, instructional practices, and learners’ experiences. In addition, a core semantic structure linking course–content–method–student–instruction–competency–development/operation was identified. Topic modeling further revealed five major themes: instructional design and implementation for pre-service teachers, pre-service teachers’ curriculum experiences and perceptions, improvement of teacher education curriculum systems, comparison and analysis of subject curricula, and discourse on teacher education curriculum. These findings suggest that research on teacher education curriculum in Korea is characterized by a multilayered structure consisting of policy and institutional issues, practice and experience, and curriculum discourse. This study is significant in that it provides a comprehensive overview of research trends in teacher education curriculum through the application of text mining techniques.
